Thanks to my experience as a teacher, my work is accurate and grammatically correct. I feel confident in translating a wide range of topics except for anything in the field of medicine, law, business. I like to research whatever topic I'm covering to get a feel for the text and aim to produce a well-written translation to the satisfaction of the customer. The correction of pupils' work during my teaching years has given me plenty of practice in proofreading. Being bilingual in English/Spanish helps me understand the nuances of both languages when translating. Due to Gibraltar's geographical position I am very familiar with the Spanish way of life and customs. I enjoy literature and have read widely both in Spanish and English.
